Our Story

Musaaid means “The Helper” in Arabic and “The Musaaid Project” was started by high schooler Ayana Khatri as a way to give back to the community. She has been volunteering with multiple organizations around the Houston area since 5th grade and saw first-hand the impact support at a grassroots level can have.

Her goal is to create a sustainable support model driven by teenagers and young adults to help others around them in whatever needs are the most pressing at the moment.
